Latest Renovation - 1971 Red Westy Van

I started work on this California van during the summer of 2009. The van had sat in Colorado for about 9 years before I got it. We stripped the van completely and did what body work was required before painting. It was in pretty good shape and turned out quite nicely.

We removed all the windows, cleaned them and replaced the trim. A new tinted front windshield was installed. The top was removed and painted. New door panels and front seats were installed. Original bed and rear passenger seat from another van were cleaned up and installed. They were in good condition.

The engine was removed and set the valves, new hoses, new fuel pump, and changed the oil. Put on new CV boots and checked the engine out completely. It runs great. This is a "fly in and drive home" van and relly nice to look at!!

I've been showcasing my completed projects, but I wanted to give all an opportunity to see my inventory of future "projects", and to see if you can find that future perfect van or car for you. Contact me if you see something you "can't live without", or as some have done find a "memory" gift for someone special. My phone number is 719-738-6442, and I can be reached at any time.
